Solarigraphies

Although photography in general is about trapping time in a support; In a solarigraphy in which the pinhole camera is left fixed and opened for days, months or years, my feeling is that of accumulating time in an image. It is a great experience to open the camera after those long time lapses and see the negative affected by heat, humidity, even sometimes with trapped fungi or insects. But definitely the most exciting part of all this is to distinguish the stripes of the solar path marked on the light sensitive paper.

The digital intervention that I do has no pattern at all.
